At this interactive online seminar, Megumi Taoka will deliver insights on how to overcome cultural differences and communicate effectively in cross-cultural business settings.

 

Ms. Taoka, a leading expert in the field of diversity and inclusion in Japan, will introduce fundamental concepts through a short presentation, with particular focus on challenges between Japan and other countries. This will be followed by an interactive Q&A with participants.

BA in Philosophy, Keio University

Biography:

Megumi Taoka has extensive experience in financial reporting for global companies in London, New York and Tokyo. At GLOBIS, she teaches Cross-cultural Management, Power and Influence, and Financial Accounting. Her industry expertise ranges from fashion and entertainment to recruiting and human capital. Her recent research is comparative studies of ethics and morals across cultures. Ms. Taoka earned her MBA from the University of Tsukuba.
