About the Event

Since the end of World War II, the US has consistently taken a leading role in addressing global challenges. President Trump’s views, best known as “America First,” directly contradict with views of his predecessors in the past 70 years, highlighting “G-Zero,” a leaderless world. For all of us,  it is critical to understand the ongoing changes of the United States' role in the world, its changing priorities, and the way these changes impact key policies, diplomatic relationships with its allies and rivals, and global trade and business environment.

In this seminar, Mr. Alexander Kazan, Managing Director of Eurasia Group, the largest geopolitical risk consultancy group in the world, will address various impacts of the Trump Presidency (both domestic and international) and introduce the Eurasia Group’s methodology to analyze risks. Through this seminar, the audience will get an overview of the global risk landscape, which will be further explored and discussed in the two-day executive education program, Strategic Risk Management: Threats and Opportunities in Global Politics, held on October 25th and 26th, 2017 at GLOBIS.
