On Monday, December 18, we will be offering our Open Campus for those who are interested in the GLOBIS MBA as well as the October 2018 Pre-MBA Program.

 

At this event you will have the opportunity to experience an MBA trial class, hear a detailed explanation of our programs, and meet one of our students/graduates.

Event Details

Delivering effective presentations is an important but difficult skill for any business leader. How can you communicate your message effectively to leave your audience engaged, informed and convinced?

 

In this interactive trial class, Mr. Darren Menabney will draw on his extensive experience in coaching and storytelling to introduce fundamental concepts that can help you deliver a killer presentation.

What is the Pre-MBA Program?

Through our Pre-MBA Program, students may take MBA courses before officially enrolling in our MBA Programs. If they are accepted into the MBA program of their choice, Pre-MBA students can transfer the credits they earned to their MBA program and the tuition they paid as Pre-MBA students will be deducted from their total MBA tuition.

Biography:

Mr. Menabney has accumulated a diverse range of professional experiences throughout his career. After graduating with a degree in Astrophysics from the University of Toronto, Mr. Menabney spent over 20 years working for the Canadian government, at the departments of Revenue, Industry, Foreign Affairs, and Defence. Following a move to Tokyo in 2011 to complete his MBA at GLOBIS University, Mr. Menabney entered the private sector, where he now leads and manages global HR programs at Ricoh Company, Ltd. (see a TEDx Talk on his “career pivot” here).

 

 

In his current role at Ricoh Mr. Menabney focuses on employee engagement, top talent development, and helping globalize HQ staff. Beyond this, his passion for presentations and storytelling have led him to coach and work with a wide variety of businesspeople and leaders from various organizations, from government agencies and military to top Japanese companies. He is actively involved with Tokyo’s start-up community, coaching entrepreneurs on how to better present and pitch their ventures.
