About the Event

On Saturday, May 13, we will be offering our Open Campus for those who are interested in the GLOBIS MBA as well as the July 2017 Pre-MBA Program.


At this event you will have the opportunity to experience an MBA trial class, hear a detailed explanation of our programs, and meet one of our students/graduates.

Event Details

Accounting is a fundamental business language that business leaders need to grasp in order to make more effective strategic decisions.


In this trial class, Mr. Akio Mori will introduce basic accounting concepts through interactive exercises and discussions that will shed some light on the important and dynamic world of accounting, and how it relates to your daily business.

What is the Pre-MBA Program?

Through our Pre-MBA Program, students may take MBA courses before officially enrolling in our MBA Programs. If they are accepted into the MBA program of their choice, Pre-MBA students can transfer the credits they earned to their MBA program and the tuition they paid as Pre-MBA students will be deducted from their total MBA tuition.

Akio Mori


MBA, Columbia Business School, Columbia University
BA in Economics, Keio University (with a one-year exchange at University of Carolina, Chapel Hill)


Akio Mori has extensive experience in the financial field, both in New York and Tokyo.
Starting his career as a commercial banker at Bank of Tokyo Mitsubishi UFJ, Mr. Mori was responsible for small to mid-sized companies in center of Tokyo. He then moved to the New York branch to engage in sales and analysis of syndicated loans (including leveraged buyout financing) for large US-based clients. He continued his finance career at GE capital during the turbulent period after the Lehman shock as a member of GE's leadership program for experienced professionals.
In recent years, Mr. Mori has deepened his expertise while engaging in M&A and strategic investment at a Japanese education and senior care company as a team head.
